Vadodara: Twelve persons died and a few others suffered injuries after the truck they were travelling in collided with a dumper truck in Padra taluka of Vadodara on Saturday evening. The deceased, residents of Ranu and Bhoj village of Padra taluka, were returning after attending a preweddingfunction at Gothada village in Savli taluka.Eyewitnesses said that the collision occurred between Ranu and Mahuvad villages. Police said that seven persons died on the spot, while five died during the treatment in the hospital.
