Speaking on why so many people were not able to clear the driving tests, Arvind Pandey, assistant regional transport officer (ARTO), told TOI that the automatic driving tests are designed in a way to ensure that only good drivers get DLs. ?Those who fail the driving test can re-appear for it after a week of failing the test. Those who fail the test for the third time may re-appear after 60 days,? added Pandey. “
