Commenting on the report,Inspector-General, Traffic,Deepak Ratan said, ?There is adirect correlation between theenforcement of rules and hap-pening of road accidents and thisis getting reflected very much inthe accident figures of 2019.?He said as compared to 2018,the number of challans issued toviolators of traffic rules went upby 49% in 2019.”
